KSPH signs MoU with ACCESS Health International to strengthen bilateral academic and research endeavour

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KIIT School of Public Health (KSPH) and ACCESS Health International was signed on 13th June 2023. This collaboration will strengthen bilateral academic and research endeavour between the two institutions on various public health challenges in Odisha and India.

Prof. Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Vice-Chancellor of KIIT-DU; and Prof. Dr. Bhuputra Panda, Director of KSPH signed the MoU on behalf of KIIT-DU; while Dr. Krishna Reddy Nallamala, President, ACCESS Health International (Asia) signed on behalf of ACCESS Health International.

Dr. Reddy and his team expressed deep commitment to work in close collaboration with the School of Public Health (KSPH) on a large number of thematic verticals that includes governance in health, health systems and services, environmental health and global health in order to address the emerging public health challenges in Odisha and India. 

Prof. Sasmita Samanta also reciprocated her strong support for all such collaborative efforts which will not only strengthen the expertise within the School but also create opportunities for faculty exchange, student learning and innovations in healthcare. Prof Panda expressed his intentions to widen the partnership initiatives for addressing issues of access, equity and quality in health care through health system strengthening, capacity building and research.

During this event, Prof. Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU, Mr. Girish Bommakanti, Director Operations & Strategic Growth (South Asia, Middle East and Africa), and Dr. Shrikant Kalaskar, Senior Technical Specialist, ACCESS Health International were present.
