Online Academic Audit (2020-21) for B.Design, KIIT- DU was organized on 24th July 2021. The academic audit provides a scope for the School to evaluate its qualitative processes/measures for Online Teaching-Learning, Evaluation, Research, Project and other best practices followed.

At the outset, the expert, Dr. Binaya Bhusan Jena, Professor, NIFT-Bhubaneswar was welcomed by Prof. Himanshu Sekhar Khatua, CEO, School of Fashion Technology, FMS  & SMC. The discussion focused on the review of activities and initiatives undertaken by the School based on recommendations of the previous academic audit report (2019-20). The initiatives taken by the School was appreciated by the expert, Prof. Jena.  

Prof. Bauri Raula, Course Coordinator, B.Des Program presented the curriculum development and related aspects, highlighting the activities conducted in the online mode of teaching. There was an interaction session with all the faculty members. Mr. Partha Sarathi Bal,  Faculty  Associate of the School  highlighted the initiatives taken by the School for the  Practical  Subjects. Ms. Biswaranjita Mohapatra. Sr. Faculty Associate explained research and publication activities carried out at the individual faculty and team level. Mr. A. Kumar, Asst.Professor described all the courses offered by the School as Minor and  Department Elective and Open Elective from the current Academic Year 2021 Session. Dr. Jena, External Audit Expert appreciated the syllabus and course curriculum offering in KSOFT, observing that it is at par with national and international top ranked design institutes.

Mr. P. S. Bal, Faculty Associate coordinated the presentation of all relevant Academic Audit documents for online inspection and interaction with audit experts. The session ended with a final audit report compilation by the esteemed auditors. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Bauri Raula, Course  Coordinator  of the School.
