KIIT School of Fashion Technology Student Shines at Liva Miss Diva Fashion Designer

Shreya Raj, a student from KIIT School of Fashion Technology, made it to the top eight contestants in the grand finale of Liva Miss Diva Fashion Designer 2024. This prestigious competition is India’s biggest fashion treasure hunt.Not only did Shreya showcase her exceptional design skills, but she also had the opportunity to walk the ramp for renowned designer Mandira Wirk. The registration process attracted participants from all over India. After crossing multiple levels, Shreya secured a spot among the top eight contestants, representing herself as a designer.

For the theme “Regal Affairs,” Shreya designed a breathtaking ethnic ensemble inspired by candles. She explains, “Traditionally, candles symbolize light over darkness, purification, and spiritual growth. The moment a candle is lit, its fragrance and ambiance evoke all my happy memories. The melting wax and the shapes it forms drew me towards it, and I wanted to recreate this in my garment.”

Shreya incorporated Liva fabric into her collection, showcasing her creativity and skill. Although Shreya didn’t win the title, she won many hearts with her stunning design and inspiration.
