KIIT-ITI Organizes Freshers’ Day ‘KALIKAZ 2023’

KIIT Industrial Training Institute (KIIT-ITI), the first constituent wing of KIIT Group of Institutions, successfully organized ‘KALIKAZ 2023’, the Freshers’ Day, with pomp and fervour. It saw enthusiastic participation from students and staff members as they welcomed the newly-admitted students into the KIIT-ITI family.

The event was graced by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS; Shri R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS; Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU; Prof. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar; and Prof. S. C. Swain, among other dignitaries.

Addressing the students, Prof. Samanta said that KIIT-ITI is the foundation stone of KIIT, and this humble beginning has today grown into a huge world-class educational institution with 80,000 students. He emphasized the excellent career opportunities for KIIT-ITI students to pursue Diploma, Degree, Post Graduation and Ph.D degrees, and announced full scholarship for all students who have scored 70% or more marks in Class-X examination.

The Secretary of KIIT & KISS laid emphasis on skill education and advised students to be serious about their career. Explaining the importance of skill, the Vice Chancellor of KIIT-DU said that skill education has now become the main focus of the industry and this will continue for at least two to three decades. The Registrar of KIIT-DU shared his insights on the progress of the School, offering motivating words of advice for the newly-admitted students.

At the outset, the Principal of KIIT-ITI congratulated all the freshers for taking the significant step in their life by joining the institute. He emphasized the importance of hard work, determination, and resilience as these qualities will help them overcome obstacles and succeed in their endeavours.
