The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at KIIT Deemed to be University recently partnered with Times Higher Education (THE) to host a two-day workshop titled “THE Data points and Use Cases.” Held on July 22-23, 2025, at the KIIT Knowledge Tower Campus 20, the event aimed to equip participants with the skills to effectively understand, interpret, and utilize THE data for strategic decision-making and competitive advantage.
The workshop featured prominent speakers from THE, including Mr. Darren Tan, Customer Success Manager (Data), and Mr. Ritin Malhotra, General Manager & Senior Regional Director (Asia) – World University Rankings.
During the inaugural session, Dr. Siddharth Swarup Rautaray Dean IQAC welcomed the speakers and attendees. He highlighted KIIT’s strong performance in both THE World University Rankings and THE Impact Rankings, and also briefed participants on the various initiatives undertaken by KIIT and KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences) in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The workshop served as a collaborative platform, bringing together IQAC members from KIIT, KISS, and the International Office to strategize on improving KIIT and KISS’s positions in global university rankings.
