Department of Pathology, KIMS Organizes CME–cum-Workshop
The Department of Pathology, KIMS organized a CME–Cum-Workshop on 19th December 2021. The CME was organized in offline mode. As many as 170 pathologists from different medical colleges of Odisha, including AIIMS Bhubaneswar, attended the CME, which was a two session programme. Approach to soft tissue tumor with special reference to vascular neoplasm was discussed in the 1st session, while 23 cases were discussed in the 2nd session. Eminent histopathologist Prof. (Dr.) Rabi Narayan Mallik, Director, Patho Lab Healthcare, Pvt. Ltd. was the speaker.
The CME was conducted smoothly under the guidance of Prof. & HOD (Dr.) Urmila Senapati, with cooperation of Organizing Secretary Prof. (Dr.) Ranjana Giri. All faculty members of the Pathology Department of KIMS attended the CME. The Odisha Council of Medical Registration has awarded 4 credit hours for the CME.
