The Postgraduate Department of Anaesthesiology KIMS in association with the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, Bhubaneswar city branch organised a workshop on HEMODYNAMIC MONITORING on 27th April, 2025 under the guidance of Prof Dr Amrita Panda, HOD Dept of Anaesthesiology, Organizing Chairperson.
The inauguration of the workshop was graced by Principal & Dean Prof. (AVM) Dr.R.C.Das; Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Manas Ranjan Behera; Dr Sanjoy Majhi, Joint Director KCC, along with other invited guest faculties. The eminent national faculties Dr. Subhendu Sarkar (HOD Cardiac Anesthesia, Desun Hospital, Kolkata); Prof Dr. Satyajit Mishra (HOD Anaesthesiology, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar); Dr Devishree Das (AIIMS, Bhubaneswar); Dr. Dharmajiban (Senior Cardiac Anesthesia Consultant, Care Hospital) shared their vast clinical experience and research insights. It was an interactive session among the speakers, faculty members and post graduate residents of KIMS medical college.
The workshop covered interative hands-on-training in assessing and managing hemodynamic status, real world scenarios with expert guidance. Participants had the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, practice data interpretation and engage in simulation based learning under the guidance of expert professionals. The event also featured case based discussions, allowing participants to correlate theoretical knowledge with real world clinical scenarios.
The workshop proved to be a highly enriching experience, strengthening the ability to access and manage hemodynamic parameters effectively in patient care. Feedback from all the participants was overwhelmingly positive.
It concluded with the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the faculty organizing team, guest faculty and participants who made the event a memorable success.
