Awareness Sessions on Labour Law Reforms and Statutory Compliances

HRD Centre of Learning, KIIT Deemed to be University organized 3 sessions on various Labour Laws Reforms and Statutory Compliances. The Sessions were attended by diverse participants covering representatives of the Principal Employers, Vendors, Contractors and their representatives.

The sessions were addressed by Dr. Narayan Tripathy, Director General, KIIT Deemed to be University and said programmes were coordinated by Ms. Reshm Nawaz, Dy. Director-HR under supervision of  Mr. Sibananda Mishra,   Director-HR. Dr. Tripathy shared  his  experiences on  various issues and   elaborately discussed about the different changes on the Labour Laws along with their applications.

Important areas of  Contract Labour (Regulations & Abolition)-1970, Building and other Construction Workers(R.E.C &S)  -1996, Rationalization  of  Forms & Report  and Inter State Migrant Workmen (RE&CS)-1979 along with Odisha Rules   were discussed.  Besides, various issues raised during the interactive sessions were clarified. The importance of the sessions was highlighted by Director-HR. 

Mr. Prasant Kumar Barik, Executive-HRD Cell assisted in conducting all the Programmes.  The Programmes were very much successful and would be more beneficial for  both  Principal Employer as well as Contractor.
