KINS Organize e-Sminar on & Research Approaches Design

Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS), KIIT Deemed to be University conducted a two-day e-Seminar on 21st & 22nd January 2022. Inaugurating the e-Seminar, Prof. (Dr.) Niyati Das, Principal, KINS extended a warm welcome to the students as well as faculty members of KINS.

On the first day Mrs. Subhashree Mohapatra, Tutor, KINS conducted a session on concepts of research approaches and design. Mr. Asokan. R, HOD, Medical Surgical Nursing and In-charge, R&D Department, KINS emphasized true experimental research design and its process in detail. Dr. Sivasankari V., Associate Prof., KINS explained the Quasi-experimental and pre-experimental research design with suitable examples.

On the concluding day, Mrs. Supriya Biswal, Tutor, KINS spoke on Non-Experimental Research Design. Mr. Chandan Pradhan, Assistant Professor explained mixed methods on research design, outcome research, meta analysis, methodological studies, evaluation studies, operational studies and its scopes. Mrs. Karishma Tripathy, Tutor took a session on qualitative research design. Mrs. Monalish Mall, Tutor spoke on historical method, and narrative study design. Mrs. Devasmita Sahoo, Tutor proposed the vote of thanks.
