KIIT School of Polytechnic Observed Its Annual Function ‘KUHUTAAN-2018’ Amid Much Fanfare


‘KUHUTAAN-2018,’ the Annual function of KIIT Polytechnic has been celebrated on 21st February 2018. The special attraction on this occasion, was obviously the Students’ Project Exhibition. The Function was started with inauguration of the exhibition by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS in presence of  Sri R. N. Dash, Secretary KIIT& KISS; Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, VC, KIIT Deemed University and Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar KIIT-DU.  While, most of projects were exhibited on present theme  ‘Smart City and Swachha Bharat’, the projects were highly appreciated by the Guests.

Gracing the occasion, The Founder, Prof. Achyuta Samanta advised the students to be disciplined in life in order to excel their academic carrier  for which ample opportunity  would be provided by the Management. Sri R. N. Dash, Secretary KIIT& KISS wished all the best to polytechnic students to be skilled in their respective fields.

Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, VC, KIIT Deemed University advised the student to implement the ‘Kuhu’  in their life to improve in academics in a melodious way. He said that the actual engineer in the field are the Diploma Engineers and being skilled they have to build the nation.”  Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar KIIT-DU Registrar Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar KIIT-DU said that KIIT was getting its identity with the Polytechnic. She advised the students to work hard to prove themselves and for upholding the reputation of this institute.

At the outset, after welcoming the Guests, Dr. Pradip Ranjan Tripathy, Principal, KIIT Polytechnic read out the Annual Report. During the function, the Annual Souvenir of KIIT Polytechnic ‘KARMAKAR’ was unveiled by the Guests. Besides,  cultural activities like solo song, dance performance by different branches and on-stage competition like ‘GULDASTA’ were conducted by students. Finally, the function was concluded with prize distribution among the students for winning different competitions and events.
