KIMS organized a Conference on Cardiology
KIMS organized a Conference on Cardiology at Angul on 7th December, 2019 which was participated by more than 40 Doctors mainly comprising of Physicians, Anesthetists, Casualty Officers and other Doctors.
Dr. Anupam Jena(M.D., D.M.), Consultant Cardiology & Electro- Physiology, KIMS gave a talk on the topic, “Managing ACS patients with Diabetes Mellitus & Pacing and Defibrillation Therapy in Heart Failure. In brief, it was about Prevention and Treatment of sudden Cardiac Death and Treatment of Heart attack.
Remarkably, Dr. Anupam Jena is the only Doctor, who has done 3 TAVR cases(Trans-Catheter Aortic Valve Replacement) in Eastern India. Besides, KIMS is the only Hospital where such sort of treatment has been done.
