KIIT School of Computer Engineering Organizes International Conference on Computational Intelligence & Networks

The School of Computer Engineering, KIIT-DU, in association with the Center for Soft Computing Research and Physics and Applied Mathematics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata organized the IEEE Computer Society Technical Co-sponsored 5th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Networks (CINE 2022) from 1st to 3rd December 2022.

The international conference attracted technical papers from all over the world. CINE has a reputation for maintaining high ethical and research standards in the review process. The acceptance rate was merely 22% at this edition of the conference.

There were six keynote speakers: Prof. Kouichi Sakurai, Kyushu University, Japan; Prof. Jürgen Kurths, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Humboldt University Berlin, Germany; Dr. Min Xu, Computational Biology Department, Carnegie Mellon University, USA; Dr. Jyotirmoy Karjee, SAMSUNG R&D Institute, India; Dr. Sandip Ghosal, MathWorks R&D, India, and Dr. Soumyabrata Dey, Clarkson University, USA. Authors presented their works both online and offline. Besides, CINE 2022 had two sister events: Doctoral Symposium and Tutorials.

Dr. Rajdeep Chatterjee (Co-founder of the CINE series) and Dr. Tanmoy Moitra, Organizing Chairs on behalf of the organizing committee, expressed gratitude to Prof. Achutya Samanta, Founder KIIT and KISS for his constant encouragement. The SCE also thanked Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar for their guidance and support.
