Professor, KIDS & Dy. Director Student Services nominated to the Senate of prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy, India Section

Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Professor, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) & Deputy Director Student Services KIIT Deemed to be University has been unanimously nominated as the first Assistant Secretary of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, India Section for the year 2023 by the Senate.

Earlier, Prof. Behura had received the Honorary International Fellowship of Pierre Fauchard Academy, USA, the oldest Honorary International Dental Service Organization in the year 2019.

The Pierre Fauchard Academy founded in 1936 is named after Pierre Fauchard of France (1678-1761), who is recognized as the “Father of Modern Dentistry” for raising Dentistry to a profession.
