KIDS organises free dental camp at Odisha Assn of the Blind

Inspired by the “Art of Giving“ philosophy of Honourable Founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, the Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) organized a free dental camp at Odisha Association of the Blind on Mother Teresa Road, Unit-III, Bhubaneswar.

Led by Dr. Jugajyoti Pathi Deputy Director (Administration), the Department of Public Health Dentistry of KIDS conducted the camp on February 11. Principal Dr. Aswini Kumar Kar also joined the event.

Free consultations and treatment procedures were carried out on more than 100 screened patients in the mobile dental van. Treatments like oral prophylaxis, restoration, and teeth extractions were carried out.

Patients were provided with free medications followed by free toothpaste distribution by Dr. Aswini Kumar Kar. For further complex dental and oral-maxillofacial treatment procedures, patients were referred to KIDS.
