KIDS Faculty Receives Biotechnology Ignition Grant

Dr. Atul Anand Bajoria, Faculty Member, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) received a Biotechnology Ignition Grant (18th Call) for his work in the field of oral potentially malignant disorders. Dr. Bajoria is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, KIDS. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery in the year 2011 from Manipal University, a gold medalist from his batch. He finished his Master’s Degree in Oral Medicine and Radiology in 2015 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He is also a trained Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) Diagnostician from Melaka Manipal Medical College (MMMC), Malaysia. Apart from being a distinguished oral physician, he is also trained in oro-facial soft tissue lasers from the Asian Institute of Advanced Dentistry. He has received training in Specialized Investigation modalities of the Head and Neck Region at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Medical Science and Hospital, Dharwad in 2014. Dr. Bajoria has numerous national and international publications to his credit.
