KIDS Faculty Conferred with Young Achiever of the Year Award

Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh, Associate Professor, Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) was conferred with “Young Achiever of the Year 2021” award by Institute of Scholars for his outstanding achievements as an academician and his research publications. This award was conferred to Dr. Singh in recognition of his recently published article on “Role of Subgingival Temperature in the Diagnosis of Gingival & Periodontal Diseases” with title: “Comparison of the Sub gingival Temperature of Smokers and Nonsmokers in Healthy and Diseased Sites of Gingiva in association with Sublingual Body Temperature” in Journal of Family Medicine & Primary Care, which is indexed in PubMed & Web of Science. Dr. Singh has published more than 41 scientific articles and 7 text books of his subject, Periodontics & Oral Implantology, to credit with more than 60,000 studies of his published articles on Research Gate as well as h-index 7 and i10 – index 7 respectively along with 161 citations. Dr. Jugajyoti Pathi, Asst. Director (Administration), KIDS along with other faculty members, congratulated Dr. Singh for his commendable achievement and wished him great luck for his future endeavors.
