IRO, KIIT Commemorates Zimbabwe’s 46th Independence Day
KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) actively celebrates cultural diversity by welcoming students from many countries, including Zimbabwe. The International Relations Office (IRO) commemorated Zimbabwe’s 46th Independence Day on 18 April 2026 along with the students.
In the presence of IRO officials, the students proudly sang Zimbabwe’s national anthem and shared their experiences at KIIT. They also spoke about their journey and gave insights into their country, its culture, and traditions.

Senior Director General, IRO, KIIT-DU, Mr. Debraj Pradhan addressed the gathering and highlighted that India and Zimbabwe share friendly relations rooted in historical ties and mutual cooperation.
The celebration concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing a shared spirit of unity, togetherness, and cultural harmony.
