FRRO Workshop for International Students and Staff at KIIT
International Relations Office (IRO), KIIT Deemed to be University organized a workshop on “International Students Orientation on Foreigner’s Registration Process by Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO), Bhubaneswar” on 15th February, 2020.
KIIT having more than 850 international students and over 1000 International guests and delegates in campus, knowledge about foreign registration and other legal processes is extremely essential for the university authorities concerned as well as the International students and guests. In this context, KIIT International Relations Office(IRO) organized a workshop on Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) processes on 15th of February, 2020 (Saturday) from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM at Campus-11 Auditorium where in officials from FRRO addressed the students.
This workshop was not only effective for our international students but also the staff of KIIT Group of Institutions with respect to:
1. Registration process
2. Different forms at the time of arrival
3. VISA process
4. Loss of Passports
5. Rules and regulations etc.
While Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT Deemed to be University gave the Welcome Address, Shri Prakash Chandra Pal (OPS), Assistant Commissioner of Police; Mr. Biswajit Mohanty, IIC Infocity Police Station and Mr. Bhuban Mohan Samantaray, Sub Inspector, DIB Foreign Section explained the rules and regulations about the FRRO process.
