Student delegates of Doshisha University, Japan visit KIIT School of Film, Fashion and Mass Communication

The Student Delegates and Professors of Doshisha University, Japan are on an academic exposure trip to KIIT Deemed to be University from 27th February to 2nd March, 2020. On 29th of February, the students and faculty members visited KIIT School of Film and Media Sciences, School of Mass Communication and School of Fashion Technology.

Prof. Himanshu Khatua, CEO, KSMC, KSFMS & KFT, staff and students welcomed the guests. They visited the studio, workshop and lab of all the three schools. A formal knowledge and experience sharing session was organized at Auditorium, Campus- 18, where profile presentation of all the three schools were screened.

Dr. Anurag sahu, Assistant Professor KIIT School of Mass Communication made a presentation on “Sports Journalism in India”. Followed by the presentation session of Dr. Sahu, a student interaction session was made between the students of three schools and the foreign students and faculty members. During the interaction session, the students exchanged their views on the media system, educational policy and career opportunities in Japan. The foreign students also presented their presentation on various themes of their home country.

At last, Professor Akira Kawaguchi, Faculty of Policy Studies, Doshisha University told this session will immensely help us and our students for their academic growth. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the faculties and students for arranging this session. During the session of interaction Mr. Ajaya Mishra, Faculty KSFMS; Mr. Susanta Bahinipati, Faculty KSFMS; Mr. Ganeswar Mahapatra, Assistant Professor KSFMS; Mr. Bauri Raula, Associate Professor KFT; Ms. Biswaranjita Mahapatra, Faculty KFT; Ms Monalisa Das, Faculty KFT and Mr.Souptik Garai, Faculty KSMC were present.
