Kolosseum 2k20 and Kuriocity 2.0 conclude at KSOM

The final day of Kolosseum 2K20 witnessed a plethora of business games and cultural events. Traffic Booster, the operations management business game, marked the beginning of the day. The objective of the event was to test the participants on their analytical skills by finding out how efficiently they take the products from the manufacturer to the retailer. Students from different schools of KIIT, Sai International College of Commerce, Sri Sri University and other prominent colleges in the city were a part of this event. As a matter of pride, the winners of the event were from KSOM.

Traffic Booster was followed by Synergy Konflictus, an HR based event that aimed at testing the participants’ understanding of the field of Human Resources. The objective of the event was to help the participants appreciate the most difficult of all resources- the Human Capital. Students from different Schools of KIIT, Sai International College of Commerce, Sri Sri University and other prominent colleges in the city were a part of this event. The winners of this event were from KSOM as well.

The final business event, ‘Capture It All’ marked the completion of all business games. The event was based on media and photography, providing an opportunity to the participants to think limitless. They had to capture pictures of Kuriocity 2.0 and Kolosseum 2K20 to the best of their abilities. The participants whose pictures were ranked the highest on the judgment parameters were crowned as winners.

The three business games were followed by three cultural events, the first of which was Any Body Can Dance. The event was a group dance competition in which participants from various colleges across the city had participated. Popular Odissi Dancer, Mr. Kumar Bhimsen, was one of the judges of the event. The event witnessed one of the highest crowds among all the events.

The second cultural event of the day was March the Revolt. This Fashion Contest provided a platform to the contestants to walk up the ramp with style adorning beautifully designed outfits and on the best of music. Ms. Suvasmita Jena, former Miss Odisha, was one of the judges of the event.

Dekh Tamasha Dekh was the final cultural event of Kolosseum 2K20. Nukkad Natak is an age-old art of conveying a message to the society at large. Dekh Tamasha Dekh aimed at standing for a cause and changing society. The event provided a platform to the participants to let their voices out. Contestants from ITER and different departments of KIIT had participated in the event. Popular Odia film actor and politician, Akash Das Nayak, was the judge of the event.

Kuriocity 2.0 and Kolosseum 2K20 were grand success. The Fest ended with much pomp and grandeur. The footfalls in this year’s edition of the Fest was much more than the last edition. We hope to see greater participation and enthusiasm in the future editions of Kolosseum.
