Cultural Get-together at KSAC during KIUG 2020

Under the Banner “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB)”,the KIIT EBSB Club organised a cultural evening get-together at KIIT Student Activity Centre.

KIIT has been paired with 12 Universities/Institutions of Maharashtra by MHRD, Govt. of India to promote the culture and tradition of the paired state. One of our paired universities, Shivaji University of Kolhapur, Maharashtra has participated in KIUG 2020 being held at KIIT.

KSAC made it a point to welcome the coaches and players of Shivaji University for an evening dedicated to them. It started with a brief welcome address by Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services followed by the address of the University Contingent Manager of Shivaji University, Dr. Mahesh Patil. The students of KIIT performed a very famous Marathi Song which was well appreciated. Special Odia Sweet “Chennapoda and Kakara Pitha was the fascination of the evening which the contingent of Shivaji University loved.

There were few musical performances by the players and coaches. It all ended with thanking the guests and a group photo with the distinctive traditional turban “The Marathi Pheta”.
