AOG Theme Launched By Its Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta

The 60-day countdown to the 10th anniversary celebration of Art of Giving (AOG) was launched on Friday with the unveiling of a new theme — Helping The Help -by the Founder of KIIT, KISS and AOG Dr. Achyuta Samanta.

The AOG movement was launched by Dr. Samanta in 2013 with an objective of spreading love and happiness in the society, a reflection of his philosophy to life. Since then, this novel mission has spread to every corner of the country and more than 120 nations.

Explaining the concept of ‘helping the help’, Dr. Samanta said the aim is to give happiness back to someone who brings comfort and joy to your life with his help. “It is a question of giving happiness to someone. If your words and deeds make someone happy, that is the philosophy of art of giving. I am propagating this philosophy over the years and encourage everyone to spread this message,” Dr. Samanta said while launching the theme.

The Founder shared a personal example saying he has been serving tea to his domestic help at his home every morning for the last two years, reciprocating his warmth.During the 60 days in the run up to the event, he said, students of the University and all other stakeholders in the society should engage in spreading the message and create awareness of helping those who help us.
