KIIT University Clinches Champion Trophy in the East Zone Inter University Kho Kho Women’s Championship 2024-25

Magai Majhi Shines as Best Defender, Archana Majhi got Best Player at East Zone Inter University Kho Kho Women’s Championship 2024-25

In a spectacular display of skill, endurance, and indomitable spirit, KIIT University’s women’s Kho Kho team emerged as the champions of the East Zone Inter University Kho Kho Women’s Championship 2024-25, held at *Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, from February 6th to 8th, 2025. Total 32 Universities teams participated in the event. The team displayed exceptional teamwork and strategic brilliance, conquering the championship with an unbeaten streak. The team consists of Archana Majhi,Subhashree Sing,  Magai Majhi,    Durgasini Majhi,   Alishma Minz,   Sirmati Sirka, Budini Pedeya, Sabita Marndi, Binodini Sabar,  Dangi Murmu,  Saraswati Sabar, Sibasini Majhi,  Sradhanjali Sing, Gopikabai Vadithe, Sunita Karua with coach Mr. Kalandi Charan Rout ,Sr. Coach Kho Kho.

Amidst roaring cheers and adrenaline-pumping moments, Magai Majhi was awarded the prestigious Best Defender title, showcasing remarkable agility and defensive prowess, while Archana Majhi dazzled on the field to claim the Best Player award, solidifying her position as a star athlete.

The championship, hosted by Vinoba Bhave University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, witnessed fierce competition among top 32 university teams from across the East Zone. However, it was KIIT University that stood tall, proving their dominance in the arena of collegiate Kho Kho.
