KIIT to Felicitate Medal Winners in World University Games-2025

In the recently concluded World University Games-2025 in Rhine-Ruhr  Germany, India obtained 12 medals while KIIT University alone bagged 6 medals. In this  meet, 11 participating athletes of KIIT have won 6 medals in various segments of athletics, archery, badminton, tennis, table tennis and volleyball games. In winning substantial medals, KIIT sportspersons have brought glory to India in general and Odisha in particular. In this context, all the medal winners will be felicitated on coming Sunday in KIIT premises. For this purpose, a preparatory meeting was held today, where Founder of KIIT, KISS and KIMS Dr. Achyuta Samanta;  Director General(Sports) for KIIT & KISS, Dr. Gaganendu Dash; and Olympian as well as KIIT student Dutee Chand were present. On the other hand, commenting on a fabricated news broadcasted by a particular media yesterday twisting her remarks, Dutee Chand has stated that her comments have been misinterpreted. For this matter, she  expressed  grief  and anguish at the dissemination of such fabricated news.
