KIIT Celebrates ‘Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav’

Multiple events like quiz competitions, role plays, essay writing, etc. marked the Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav at KIIT Deemed to be University on 11th December 2022. Students from various states of India like Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc. participated in the quiz competition, which related to the language variation and culture. The top three students were awarded. The topics of the multilingual essay competition were “My Language My Pride” and “Cuisine as a Part of Indian Culture”. In the role play category, the students spoke of their culture, language, ethnicity and other pertinent subjects. A “My Language, My Signature” campaign was organized in which students signed their names in their own mother tongue.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Deepanjali Mishra, School of Humanities who was also the nodal officer for coordinating the event. The faculties of the School of Humanities, Dr. Khushboo, Dr. S.D. Choudhury, Dr. Arpita Goswami, Dr. Chetna Sinha actively engaged their students for carrying out this event. The hostel team comprising of Ms. Sandhya Rani Pradhan, Ms. Bandita Ray and Ms. Sanjukta Parida assisted and ensured its smooth conduct. 

Bhasha
