KIIT School of Electronics Engineering Organizes Alumni Talk

An Alumni Talk, the sixth in the series, was organized by KIIT School of Electronics Engineering (SoEE) for the B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. students on 24th April 2021. The speaker, Mr. Kaustubh Dutta described his academic journey, job search and how he settled as a permanent resident in Canada.

He talked about his journey in KIIT, how he got motivated by different faculties and how the faculties, ambience of School of Electronics Engineering and KIIT help him in every aspect of life to be successful. He also guided the students on getting higher studies abroad, job opportunities, etc. He also emphasized on the different exams students need to prepare if they wish to apply to different universities abroad. The presentation was informative and interesting in all the aspects.

Kaustubh Dutta was in the Electronics and Telecommunication branch, 2012-16 batch. He enjoyed his campus life, but submitted all his assignments and research work on time. A brilliant student, he participated actively in software coding competitions/ robotics and managed to publish a few papers in IEEE too. He is now working as an Application Developer, Nokia, Ottawa, Canada.

The session was attended by the students and faculty members of the School of Electronics Engineering. The program was coordinated and concluded by Dr. Arindam Basak, Associate Dean, T&P and Prof. Rasmita Lenka, Assistant Professor, School of Electronics Engineering.
