School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University inaugurated a 15-day virtual training session on Matlab Fundamentals in two batches, comprising 75 students in each.
Speaking at the inaugural program, Dr. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Professor and Director, QAC appreciated the attempt of the School in developing skills among students during this pandemic time. Dr Sarat Chandra Swain, Professor and Joint Director, Skills emphasized the utility of Matlab knowledge in Electrical analysis.
Dr. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean of the School emphasized the cumulative effort of the School in bringing this training program within a short span of time. He also explained a few applications of Matlab tools in Research and Project. Dr. Sriparna Roy Ghatak, Assistant Professor and Expert of the program shared her views on the domain specific knowledge applications she will be undertaking during the training program.
Earlier, Dr. Tanmoy Roy Choudhury, Coordinator of the Program welcomed all the guests, students and participants, and also discussed about the modalities of the course. Dr. Satyaranjan Jena proposed the vote of thanks. The inaugural program was attended by around 120 participants including students, faculty members, and technical assistants.
