KIIT School of Electrical Engineering Organizes Summer Training Program on “IoT & Embedded PLC”

The future of the Internet of Things has the potential to be limitless. Advances to the industrial internet will be accelerated through increased network agility, integrated artificial intelligence (AI) and the capacity to deploy, automate, orchestrate and secure diverse use cases at hyper-scale.

The School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University organized a 30-day hands-on-training on “IOT & Embedded PLC”  in the fields of  Fundamental to IoT,  Cloud Computing, PCB Design, Domain & Hosting for end-user applications, PLC ladder to SCADA. The course was designed to enable the participants to acquire the basics to advance knowledge through virtual platforms.

Dr. Subhra Debdas, Associate Professor, School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT-DU was associated as key personnel for the entire training program. The preparation was led with dynamic help of TA’s Md. Aftab Alam, Mr. Kamal Kanta Swain, Mr. Srinibas Das, Ms. Monalisa Dash and Ms. Bishnupriya Panigrahi. The program was led under the capable administration of Dr. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean, SoEE and Prof. Subrat Behera, Associate Dean (T & P), SoEE.

There were around 47 participants including B.Tech and M.Tech level students from across schools, who attended the training programme with their involvement in solving real life projects related to company demands.
