The School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University organized a 40-hour domain training program on Electrical Networks. The course was designed to enable students to acquire the basic ideas of electrical circuits and its analysis, which is the foundation of the Electrical Engineering discipline. Students were familiarized with different concepts and problem solving techniques on network elements, network theorems, magnetic coupled circuits, two port networks, transient response of DC and AC networks, single phase and three phase AC circuits through virtual platforms.
The 2nd year and 3rd year Electrical Engineering students attended the training with their utmost involvement in concept building, problem solving and class discussions. The faculty members involved in the training program were Prof. Silpashree Sahu and Prof. Deepak Kumar Yadav. The training was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean SoEE. It was coordinated by Dr. Banishree Misra, SoEE. Another domain training on “Fundamentals of Electrical Science” is already in progress for 2020 admitted batch students. The School plans to conduct more such domain training classes in the coming academic session.
