Dr. H. K. Tripathy, Associate Professor, KIIT School of Computer Engineering delivered a talk on the topic “Cognitive Computing: Open Research Challenges” on 7th November 2020, via Virtual mode, under the “Speak and Search Lecture Series” of the School.
He highlighted the cognitive computing models, its applications, advantages and limitations using several real-time examples. He also discussed various research directions in the emerging field of Cognitive Computing which would help the students and faculties to initiate the research.
The session was streamed live on Youtube and attended by the faculty members and students of the School. Dr. Suresh Chandra Satapathy, Dean Research, KIIT School of Computer Engineering encouraged students to discuss about their research and innovations which will support the growth of fundamental research at the School. The session was co-ordinated by Dr. Minakhi Rout and Ms. Junali Jasmine Jena.
