The KIIT School of Computer Application kicked off its academic year with a bang as it celebrated “Byte-O-Mania,” a vibrant freshers day event filled with excitement and inspiration.
The Founder of KIIT and KISS Dr. Achyuta Samanta, in his address, emphasized the importance of maintaining KIIT’s reputation. He said, “Today is Freshers Day, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the second-year students for arranging this day. My only submission before you is that KIIT has reached a certain position. You are the first stakeholders of KIIT. It is up to you to see how its name will remain intact, and dignity should be maintained perfectly.”
Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Saranjit Singh highlighted the vast opportunities that await the incoming batch of students. Prof. Singh noted, “A plethora of opportunities is coming your way. Six IT companies have already visited our campus in the last two days. As you embark on your academic journey, it is essential to navigate your path for the next 5-10 years. Top 10 IT skills are crucial, with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) offering numerous opportunities. I urge you to explore areas where opportunities abound and foster more associations to live in a closely connected society.”
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sasmita Samanta emphasized the significance of KIIT’s campus as a confluence of knowledge, encouraging students to embrace the wealth of learning resources available to them.
