KIIT Society of Civil Engineers (KSCE) Empowering Education

The KIIT Society of Civil Engineers (KSCE) organized a cultural event on 5th September 2024, celebrating Teacher’s Day with the theme “Empowering Education.” This occasion was a heartfelt tribute to the teachers, recognizing their indispensable role in shaping students into responsible citizens and compassionate human beings. Teachers are the cornerstone of our future, and this event aimed to express the immense gratitude owed tothem for their unwavering dedication and guidance. The celebration began with a vibrant cultural program, followed by a touching felicitation ceremony. Teachers were honored with flowers, handmade cards, and gifts prepared by the students, symbolizing the deep respect and appreciation they hold for their mentors. A highlight of the event was the inspiring speech by the KSCE Coordinator, who reflected on the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping young minds. Some students also took the stage to share their own words of gratitude through short, emotional speeches.

The cultural performances, including dances, songs, poems, and dramas, added an element of joy and creativity to the celebration. To further engage and entertain, students organized fun games for the teachers, making the event both lively and heartwarming. The spirit of the day gave students a glimpse into the immense responsibility and dedication required to be an effective teacher. The program was a grand success, with teachers expressing their appreciation for the effort and thoughtfulness that went into the event. Students from the KIIT School of Civil Engineering actively participated, creating an inclusive and interactive atmosphere. The event was anchored by active members of KSCE, along with the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator of KSCE. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Malay Mohanty, Assistant Professor, who concluded the event by reinforcing the key role teachers play in empowering education and shaping the future.
