The School of Civil Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, in association with VSSC/ISRO & SVR InfoTech, organized a two-day Online Workshop on FEAST (Finite Element Analysis of Structures) Software for the students, faculty members and technical staff members on 23rd & 24th January 2021, over Zoom platform.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. S. Moulick, Dean, School of Civil Engineering and coordinated by Prof. Sunny Jaiswal, FIC of Computational Laboratory. The invited speaker for the lecture was Mr. Aniket Bhelsaikar, CAE Support Engineer from SVR InfoTech.
The workshop discussed following topics: FEAST Development by VSSC ISRO & Its Importance; Introduction on FEAST SMT & GUI representation; Deflection and stresses in a cantilever beam; Static Analysis of a Fixed Beam, Simply Supported Beam, Continuous Beam, Column and Roof truss; and Analysis of RC Framed Multi-Storey Building (G+5).
