KIIT Law School (KLS) organized an Advanced Management Development Program on “Analytics in Marketing” from 13th to 18th March 2023 in association with the National Institute of MSME, Hyderabad.
The primary theme of this program was the importance of information in business. It dealt with ways to collect such information; analysis of the information; and deriving insights for strategic actions. A lot of thrust was given to research methodology, statistics and data analysis using MS Excel. Besides this, many allied topics that help start and run a business unit were included in this Advanced MDP. Some of these topics were how to register a firm; GST; Income Tax; Business negotiation; Contracts; Insurance; Patents; Funding for start-ups; Government Schemes for start-ups, etc.
Dr. S. Glory Swarupa, Director General, National Institute of MSME (NI-MSME), Hyderabad; Dr. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU; Dr. P.K. Sarkar & Dr. Bhabani Prasad Rath; Dr. L.N. Dash of KLS; and Dr. Dibyendu Choudhury from NI-MSME attended the inaugural functions among other dignitaries on 13th March.
