KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) organized a talk for the students of MBA (ABM) under its ‘Agribusiness Leaders’ Talk Series’ by Mr. Ravish Ambol, Marketing Lead, Savannah Seeds Pvt. Ltd. (a LGT Group company) on 17th December 2020. Mr. Ambol emphasized the need to shift from profitable to value creation and from need to comfort in the domain of marketing. “It is here that technological intervention has played a key role. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about the significance of going global. Digital marketing, video conferencing amongst many others have become predominant”, he explained.
Mr. Ambol also stressed that this comfort and value creation should be on the basis of coexistence and understanding. He suggested the students to connect whatever concepts they are learning in the class with the information and data available. They also need to understand the value chain which is crucial for designing different interventions, Mr. Ambol added.
Mr. Ambol is an experienced rural marketing expert with nearly 19 years of experience. He has an impeccable career track record in new business development, products launch, technology introduction, people development and creating value for organization and shareholders. As the Marketing Lead of Savannah Seeds Pvt. Ltd., he developed Strategic Business Plans for Savannah Portfolio expansion in the India and South Asia region.
