An Alumni talk was organized by KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM) for the students of MBA(RM) on 4th August 2022. The speaker was Mr. Rohit Maskara, MBA (RM) batch of 2009-11. He threw light on the three internships at KSRM and advised the students to focus on the internship, gain not only good experience but also work ethics. He shared about his experience in the different internships, where he got a pre placement offer and later helped him to bag an offer at UNDP. Mr. Rohit urged the students to keep enriching the learning process and add value by doing other additional courses as well.
Mr. Rohit has more than 10 years of experience in various domains like waste management, enterprise development and financial inclusion. Presently he works with the Centre for Environment Education as Project Manager. Prior to that he worked with United Nations Development Program (UNDP), HDFC Ergo General Insurance, SREI Sahaj e-village Limited and Emami Ltd. Mr. Rohit has also done courses on Municipal Solid Waste Management in Developing Countries and on Regional and Rural Development Planning from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok.
