Prof. Sugato Tripathy, Joint Director, KIIT Digital and faculty at KIIT School of Management was invited by the Department of MSME, Govt. of Odisha as a technical speaker in the MSME Outreach and Awareness Campaign and Knowledge Exchange session on “Branding & Marketing Promotion for MSMEs in Food Processing, Textiles, Handloom & Handicrafts.”
The session was about:
– Importance of Branding for MSMEs
– Brand Development Strategies
– Digital Marketing Techniques
– E-commerce and Online Marketplaces
– Traditional Marketing approaches
This initiative was under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) program of the department.
The Keynote address was given by:
Mr. Bibhuti Bhushana Dash, Special Secretary of the Department of MSME, Govt. of Odisha.
The Closing address was given by:
Mr. Prabhakar Rao, Addl. CEO of the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED).
There was interaction with various entrepreneurs of the state and discussions about Branding and Marketing strategy of their enterprises. The PwC team organized this initiative along with the Department of MSME, Govt. of Odisha.
