KAMARADERIE’, the Orientation Programme of BBA students of Batch 2020-2023, was conducted virtually on 21st September 2020. Addressing the students, Prof. S. K. Mahapatra, Director, KSOM said that the journey of a successful person is like transition “from a common noun to a proper noun”. He cited real-life examples to validate his point. BBA can be the perfect foundation of a professional career, stated Prof. S. N. Mishra, Dean. It is entirely up to the student as to how he or she can make use of the opportunities provided by the institute, he said.
Prof. Jitendra Mohanty, Chairperson, Placement introduced the KIIT Group of Institutions to the newly-admitted students. Prof. Isa Mishra, Chairperson, BBA briefed the students about the regulations, syllabus, academic cycle, teaching-learning process, student development and extension activities of KSOM. Prof. Chandrabhanu Das, Co-ordinator, BBA III and Prof. Ritika Sharma, Co-ordinator, BBA II addressed the students focusing on the importance of every year of the BBA academic calendar. General Conduct & Discipline Guidelines were explained in detail by Prof. Abhishek Kumar.
The orientation program was anchored by Prof. Saptorshi Das, BBA 1 Coordinator. She also facilitated all the student activities for the day. Creatively named activities like “KANVAS KATHA” – poster making competition, “KUIZZARDS” – entertainment quiz, “KALAAKARI” – talent hunt and “Kan’t you guess?” kept the students engaged.
