Capgemini & KSOM Sign MoU to Strengthen Industry-Academia Collaboration

Capgemini Technology Services India Limited and KIIT School of Management (KSOM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster a collaborative partnership aimed at enhancing industry-academia interaction. This initiative, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 10th September 2025, is designed to enrich the talent pool of students through a structured program involving orientation sessions, specialized training, case studies, and regular mentorship by Capgemini professionals. The collaboration will provide students with significant opportunities to develop industry-relevant skills and gain exposure to real-world business challenges, ultimately strengthening their career readiness.

As part of this engagement, KIIT School of Management will work closely with Capgemini to facilitate internship availability, assign faculty mentors, and support campus recruitment activities—granting Capgemini preferential status in hiring final-year students who complete the program. Additionally, the partnership includes joint marketing and branding efforts, such as shared press releases, social media promotions, and visibility across KIIT’s digital and physical platforms. This alliance underscores a shared commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and corporate excellence, creating a robust framework for mutual growth and innovation

Representing Capgemini were Mr. Joshy Joseph, Vice President, and Mr. Sourav Narayan Biswas, Program Manager, University Relations & Hiring, both of whom addressed the gathering. From KIIT-DU, the attendees included Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU; Prof. Arvind Tripathy, Dean, KSOM and Prof. Kumar Mohanty, Director, KSOM. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Abhishek Ray, Dean (IE) of KIIT-DU.
