A Workshop titled “Algorithm and Problem Solving Skill for K200 Students” was organized by Career Advisory & Augmentation School, KIIT Deemed to be University. The session was organized to strengthen the level of preparedness of K200 students aiming for placements in top notch companies paying high CTC.
Er. Shashi Kant, a KIIT alumnus, who is currently working with VMware Carbon Black as Cloud Security Engineer, Pune conducted a very interactive session with hands-on practice. He focused on hardcore fundamentals of programming language and its pre-requisites, importance of Data Structure & Algorithms including the tips to ace technical interviews. He solved a few complex problems while responding to various questions of the students.
Earlier, Prof. Priyadarshi Biswal, Dean CAAS delivered the welcome address and Prof. Suman Bhattacharya, Director CAAS set the context for discussion. Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Prachet Bhuyan, Dean T&P, while Prof. Abhisek Ray, Dean IE coordinated the session.
Among others, all the students along with the faculty members of CAAS, including Prof. Sudhanshu Dalai, Prof-in charge K200, participated actively in the three-hour interactive workshop. In fact, K200 Batch, a maiden initiative and the brain-child of Dr. Achuyta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS started a fortnight before, comprises the elite level students who have proven their mettle by elevating themselves beyond the benchmarked standards in Coding and Problem Solving Skills over the last 14 months.
