Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini, Director, Students Counseling along with the counseling team interacted with the teaching and non-teaching staff of School of Fashion Technology, School of Film & Media Science and School of Mass Communication in a counseling session focusing on need for creating a positive and vibrant ambiance in the University.
Dr. Priyabadini explained the facilities created by the Founder, KIIT & KISS for the benefit of the staff of KIIT, KIMS and KISS and their family members, who are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is important that the faculty members take maximum care and strictly follow Covid protocols while dealing with the students after physical classes resume for the safety and betterment of the students, she said. She also advised on the need to counsel students with patience and care and assist them in meeting their legitimate aspirations.
Speaking at the session, Ms Sadhana Mishra, KISS shared her experiences of community engagement during the pandemic. Dr. Rajalaxmi Panda, Dy. Director, Student Counseling, KISS also attended the session.
Prof. Bauri Raula, Course Coordinator, School of Fashion Technology spoke about online and offline internship and placement facilities provided to the students. Mr. Partha Bal, Faculty Associate, School of Fashion Technology shared experience of online practical classes and the solutions. Dr. Rajeev Kumar Panda, Asst. Professor, School of Mass Communication explained the simulation hybrid mode practical class delivery and its effectiveness in the pandemic situation.
Prof. H. S. Khatua, CEO of SFT, SFMS and SMC thanked Dr. Priyabadini for providing relevant information and briefing the participants on such an important matter.
