KIIT School of Film & Media Sciences organized a series of webinars on photography on the 2nd day of the 3rd KIIT Global Photography Festival (KGPF). Photography enthusiasts from all over the country and abroad participated in the virtual event.
With the theme of the webinar “A New World, A New Perspective”, Theophilus A. Yeboah, an alumnus of KSFMS, narrated his filmmaking and photography experience in Ghana. Joel Aarland, a student of KSFMS from Suriname, shared the experience of his filmmaking journey and the learning from his academic life at KIIT Film School. Divyam Jha, another student from Nepal, shared his knowledge on ‘Changing Perspective’ in Photography.
The question & answer sessions provided the participants the opportunity to get their interesting questions based not only on photography but also filmmaking, answered by Theophilus and Joel, both of whom are filmmakers in their respective countries. They imparted their valuable fusion of the knowledge and experience accumulated through the investment of their strenuous efforts and time inside the film industry. A discussion concerning employment in the film industry was the major highlight of the event.
Another highlight of the day was a webinar by Sony Alpha Specialist, Saroj Kumar Dora, on “Changing Era of Photography and Modern Equipment.” His photographer friend, Sameer Ashraf also shared his viewpoint on photography.
The CEO of SFMS, SFT & SMC, Prof. Himansu S. Khatua appreciated the effort of the faculties and students in organizing the festival successfully.
