KIIT Quality Assurance Cell Organizes Virtual Workshop on ‘Framework on Quality Teaching and Learning’

KIIT Quality Assurance Cell conducted an in-house virtual workshop on “Framework on Quality Teaching and Learning” on 22nd February, 2021. Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Sar, School of Management, KIIT-DU, who was the resource person at the workshop, explained ‘Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)’, which describes exactly what the student would be able to do after taking the course. Course outcomes should be constituted of Remembering, Understanding, Evaluating, Analyzing, Applying, Creating as per Bloom’s taxonomy. Again, he emphasized on the preparation of lesson plans, mode of teaching and learning, type of assessment and value of students’ feedback.

Prof S.Moulik, Dean, School of Civil Engineering along with faculty members interacted with Prof. Ashok Kumar Sar and put forth their point of view on Quality Teaching and Learning.

At the outset, Prof. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Director, Quality Assurance extended a warm welcome to Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Sar and all faculty participants present at the workshop. Dr. Arindam Deb, Dy. Director, Accreditations explained the importance of outcome-based learning. All faculty coordinators of QA Cell (School level), and faculty members of all Schools were present at the workshop. Dr. Satya Ranjan Jena, Faculty Coordinator, QA Cell, School of Electrical Engineering placed the vote of thanks.
