Department of Psychology (erstwhile KSFH, now KSLS) organized a one-day National Seminar on ‘Mental Health & Wellbeing for All – A Global Priority’ on 17th October 2022. Prof. (Dr.) U. N. Dash, a Retired Professor of Psychology, at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and discussed the importance of mental health for young people across the globe. Prof. (Dr.) Sarada Prasanna Swain, Department of Psychiatry, SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack graced the program as the Guests of Honour and discussed about the determinants of mental health and well-being. Prof. (Dr.) Damodar Suar, (then Chairman of Social Science Research), also discussed the significance of wellbeing and mental health among students. Prof. (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU and Prof. (Dr.) Jayanta Kumar Parida, (then Director, KSFH) also spoke on the occasion.
