A study tour was organized by the department of psychology in December 2023, as a part of the experiential learning program of the curriculum, to the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Hindustan UniLever and Pearson Bangalore. The tour aimed to provide valuable insights to our students in the field of mental health in general and more specifically in the areas of exposure to cutting-edge research, treatment methods, advancements and practical application of knowledge, access to specialized resources, exposure to diverse perspectives, providing networking opportunities, career guidance and inspiration. Final year students were a part of this tour and were accompanied by the faculty members, Dr.Sayed Firoj Alli, Prof. Kalyani Biswal Dr.Girija Panigrahi and Dr. Soma Parija . This experience was a great success and it will have a major value addition for our students in terms of shaping their future careers.
