Prof. Ranjith Bandara, an eminent economist, academician, politician and currently the Member of Parliament (MP), Sri Lanka visited KIIT School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences (KSFH) on 11th November 2022. Prof. Bhandara was welcomed by Prof. Jayanta kumar Parida Director, KSFH who extended his heartfelt gratitude towards him for honoring the School with his visit.
Prof. Bandara had an engaging interaction with the faculty members and the students of KSFH. It was an enriching experience to hear Prof. Bandara. He talked on different aspects of mathematical economics and econometric models. He interacted with students and explained the ‘Seven ways of getting success’ with real life examples. Listening to his life story was indeed an inspirational experience. His idea of “Challenging the Mind” was well appreciated by the faculty members and students of KSFH.
More than 30 faculties and 300 students actively interacted and discussed with Prof. Ranjith Bandara on various dimensions of academics and research as well.
