KSFH Organizes Awareness Programme on Mental Health

KIIT School of Social, Financial & Human Sciences (KSFH) recently organized a three-day awareness program with the theme “Manas Manthan: Celebrating Mental Health for All” on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students in various activities organized by the Department of Psychology at KSFH. The primary objective was to enhance the capacities of students, faculty, and staff members of KIIT-DU in the matters of mental health.

The first day featured a vibrant poster gallery created by students from the Department of Psychology. The posters aimed to educate and raise awareness on the theme “Mental Health as a Universal Human Right.” Following this, students from KSFH performed an insightful Street Play (Nukkad Natak) addressing everyday issues that impact mental health, contributing to the awareness campaign on the campus. Additionally, a thought-provoking movie, ‘The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind’, was screened at the KSFH Auditorium, drawing active participation from students, faculty, and staff. The program concluded with an impactful talk by Dr. Amrit Pattojoshi, a prominent psychiatrist.
