The 6th episode of Alumni LIVE Series was hosted by KIIT Alumni Relations Cell and KIIT Alumni Association (KIITAA) on 24th July 2021 on KIIT and KIIT Alumni Facebook page. The guest of the evening Ms. Manisha Mishra, a 2018 batch alumna of School of Computer Engineering, stole the show with her one hour interaction cum LIVE performance. She performed on six songs of different languages such as Hindi, Odia, Bengali and Telugu and went on sharing her experiences with the host of the evening Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services. The songs were very melodious, and with her beautiful voice every song touched the hearts of the audience. The LIVE event had a massive 64K views.
Manisha is a former All India Radio artist and has been pursuing Hindustani Classical Music since 2000 under the Guru’s of Patiala Gharana. During her study at KIIT, she became the finalist in All India Classical Voice of India held in Lucknow in 2016 and was in the top 50 in the Voice Music Reality Show by Star Plus in 2018. She started her Youtube Channel in 2020 and is active in Insta and Facebook. She has recently collaborated with Siddharth Music, Odisha and has sung beautiful Bhajans of Lord Jagannatha.
