KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC) observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (or National Unity Day) on 31st October 2020, celebrated all over the country to mark the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Hailed as the Iron Man of India, Sardar Patel, who was also the first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of India, played a pivotal role in the integration of more than 500 independent princely states during 1947 to 1949.
On this occasion, Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director Student Services read the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge and all Student Coordinators and Asst. Coordinators of various student societies and staff of KSAC pledged to uphold the unity and integrity of the motherland.
