‘Khwaab’, the Society for Social Cause working with the philosophy of Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS, hosted the two-day annual social awareness event, Kritarth 6.0 with the theme “Be the Change for a Sustainable Tomorrow” on 19th – 20th March 2022. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Ms. Arati Devi, India’s Youngest & Fmr. Sarpanch of Ganjam, Odisha and a social activist. Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU delivered the opening remarks. Ms. Arati Devi spoke about her inspiring journey and addressed the young audience on the importance of girls’ education in rural areas to build a strong and independent society. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Deputy Director, Student Services, KIIT proposed the word of thanks. This year, Kritarth 6.0 hosted seven distinct online events with contribution from different societies such as Klick It, Kosumbre, Kanvassing, Devil’s Advocate, Rocket Singh, Tech Warz and Kritarth Got Talent with the goal of bringing about the change they want to see for a more sustainable future.
